Defining the Salesforce Record Type for a record created with Forms

In Salesforce, you have the option of creating Record Types for different objects. If you wish to define a Record Type for each submission posted to Salesforce from a given Forms page:

• Open the form whose Record Type you wish to define
• Click the Options tab
• For Record Type, select the Record Type you wish to associate with new records. NOTE: This drop down is populated directly from your Salesforce instance for the object you selected. If you do not wish a Record Type to be defined, you may leave it as "-- Select Record Type --". If a Record Type is not appearing in this list, 1) confirm that it is Active in your Salesforce instance; and, if it is, 2) clear the Salesforce cache in Soapbox.
