Changing the salutation values for attendees

Sometimes you might find that you need to add, change, or remove picklist values that are found under the salutation field for event attendees.  Changing the salutation picklist values for an attendee is a straightforward process.  Here are the steps you can follow to change the values of the salutation picklist for attendees.

  1. Login to Salesforce
  2. Go to Setup > Create > Objects
  3. Click on the "Ticket" link
  4. On the page titled "Ticket (Managed)", go down to the "Custom Fields & Relationships" section and click on "Salutation"
  5. On the page titled "Salutation (Managed)", under the "Picklist Values" section, click on the New button
  6. On the page titled "Salutation", add the salutations you wish to add to this picklist
  7. Click the Save button
  8. Repeat this process for the Ticket Temp object by going to Setup > Create > Objects
  9. Click on the "Ticket Temp" link
  10. On the page titled "Ticket Temp (Managed)", go down to the "Custom Fields & Relationships" section and click on "Salutation"
  11. On the page titled "Salutation (Managed)", under the "Picklist Values" section, click on the New button
  12. On the page titled "Salutation", add the salutations you wish to add to this picklist making sure that the additions are an exact match with those you added for the Tickets object
  13. Click the Save button

After doing so, you may need to follow these instructions in Soapbox to clear your cache and reset the picklist values.
