Why do I see "Payment Error: (0)" after attempting a transaction with TouchNet?

If a transaction fails due to an issue with a specific credit card that a visitor attempts to use on the TouchNet UPay site, TouchNet sends the visitor back to Soapbox and notes an error but provides little other detail. This causes the following error text to be displayed to the visitor upon their return to Soapbox:

Payment Error: (0)

Should a visitor note that this error has been displayed, encourage them to review their credit card details to make sure it is not expired or they are entering in incorrect information and advise that they attempt the transaction again with corrected credit card information or a different credit card.
