Why do I see the error "Salesforce Error: invalid cross reference id" after submitting a Soapbox Shop order?


If you see the following error message after submitting a Soapbox Shop order, the issue is likely that the Campaign assigned to the Shop store is no longer valid or has been deleted:

Salesforce Error: invalid cross reference id

To fix this problem, update the assigned Campaign in the affected Soapbox Shop store to use a valid and existing Campaign.
