Display a Category Description

If you have created a Description for a Category that you wish to appear on a page which dynamically displays the articles of that Category, you can do so by changing the parameters of the menu item for that page.

Display a Category Description

To display the Description on a given Category Blog Layout or Category List Layout menu type:

1. Go to Menus > Main Menu (or the menu where the menu item is located)
2. Locate the menu item on which you wish to display the Description
   
   Note: This can be done only for Category Blog Layout or Category List Layout menu types.
3. Click on the title
4. In the right hand column under Parameters (Basic), select Show for Description
   
5. Click Save
