Add CAPTCHA to contact form to reduce spam

updated

Anytime you have a form that allows users to submit information through your website, there is the possibility that you will get spam.  CAPTCHA, or "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart" (see why just calling it CAPTCHA has caught on?) is a tool that helps eliminate spam by requiring the user to enter letters and numbers that appear in an image:

You can enable CAPTCHA for your contact form on Soapbox.  To do so:

  1. Go to Utilities > Plugins
  2. Find Contact - CAPTCHA
  3. Click the red X in the Enabled column
