Edit the HTML code directly

The Editor for Soapbox CMS is WYSIWYG, or What You See Is What You Get. By using the icons in the toolbar, you are able to add different styles and elements to the page in a user-friendly manner. To execute the changes, the Editor inserts HTML invisibly behind the text you view in the Editor.

If you so choose, you can turn off the Editor and view or edit the underlying HTML code directly.

To do this:

• Use the Editor On / Editor Off toggle in the upper right corner of the site administrator to turn it on or off. This will allow you to turn it off prior to opening an article or module.
• Click [show/hide] above the icon toolbar to toggle the Editor on and off.
• Click Edit HTML Source in the toolbar to view the source code in a separate pop-up window.
