Finding Your Article

Now you will have to find the article you want to manage.  This can be tricky if you have a large number of articles on your site.  However, there are a couple of tools to narrow things down quickly.

The first is the Filter field.  This filter searches the titles of all of your articles, and returns any with a matching string in the title.  So, if you enter your article's title here, or a part of it, the Article Manager will filter out for you the article you are looking for, as well as any others that may contain the same character string in their title.

You can also search by Section or Category.  Select your article's Section or Category from the respective drop down in the Article Manager, and it will filter out for you all of the articles in that Section or Category.

Similarly, you can filter by Author or publishing state.

Use any of the above methods to locate your article in the Article Manger.  Once you see it listed, click the article's title to open that article in the Article Editor.

This is what the Article Editor looks like:

You now have the article open in the Article Editor, and may change any of it’s parameters as you desire.  You can also edit the content of the the article, located in the large text box.  You can use the WYSIWYG editor to style your text, add photos, and links to other content on your site, or links to other sites.
