Recording date of last login for user to Salesforce Contact record

updated

If your site has a password-protected area and its users are connected to Salesforce Contact records in your Salesforce instance, you can use the Salesforce User Manager in your Soapbox administrator to record the most recent date a Contact logged in to your website. To do so, you must first create a custom date field on the Contact object in Salesforce. After this field has been created:

  1. Go to the Salesforce User Manager
  2. Go to the Authentication Options tab
  3. For Log last visit date to Contact field, select the field on the Contact object in Salesforce you have created to store this data. NOTE: If the field does not appear in the drop down, clear the cache of your Salesforce data.
  4. Click Save
