Far more than a single app, the Salesforce Portals feature adds powerful functionality to the apps throughout the Soapbox Engage suite. The following is an app-by-app overview of those features.
Directories
- Restrict viewing of Salesforce records based on the Contact Id or Account Id of the logged in user
- Auto-populate Directories search criteria with values from logged in user's Contact record to display information specific to their location, interests, or other pertinent data
- Grant access to edit Salesforce records to logged in users
- Grant access to edit a Salesforce record to logged in users based on their Contact Id
Forms
- Pre-populate Form values with data from the logged in user's Contact record
- Create records related to a logged in user's Contact or Account record
Donations
- Automatically fills in field values on a Donation form from Salesforce Contact record
- Allows you as the administrator the ability to restrict editing of field values automatically filled in for data integrity purposes
Events
- Automatically fills in field values on an Event registration form from Salesforce Contact record
- Allows you as the administrator the ability to restrict editing of field values automatically filled in for data integrity purposes
- Restrict an event to only Registered or Special users
- Restrict a ticket type by Registered or Special Access Level or by User Group(s)
Shop
- Automatically fills in field values on a Shop order form from Salesforce Contact record
- Allows you as the administrator the ability to restrict editing of field values automatically filled in for data integrity purposes
- Restrict access to a Store to only Registered or Special users
- Restrict access to a Product to only Registered or Special users
- Restrict access to a Product based on the value of a Contact record field
