Why do some users see "This account has been blocked for security reasons..." when registering?


If individuals registering for a web user account report seeing the following message directly after submitting the registration form, it is likely due to the fact that the email address they are using matches multiple Contact records in Salesforce:

"This account has been blocked for security reasons. Please contact the administrator to activate your account."

You can alter this message in the User Manager to reflect what behavior your site has in place for dealing with multiple matching Contacts.
