There is a known error in the Actions app. When the Who Can Act > Supporter Filter parameter is set to "Everyone in the United States" and a Custom Target is selected on the Action tab, the following error is shown to a supporter when attempting to submit the initial step for the Action:
Client error: `GET http://clerk.house.gov/member_info/mem_contact_info.aspx?statdis=CA34` resulted in a `404 Not Found` response
We are currently working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, you have a couple of options:
- Switch the Who Can Act > Supporter Filter parameter to Everyone. This will skip the initial form altogether with the appeal and the full form appearing at the same time; or
- Switch the Who Can Act > Supporter Filter parameter to Supporters in specific U.S Congressional District(s) and select all districts to include - or only a subset of your choosing. This will present the address form first on the appeal page and then show the full form after successful submission of the address by the visitor.
