When a visitor comes to an Action page in Soapbox, they will be asked for their address to determine if they live in the geographic or legislative area you have defined for Who Can Act. Soapbox uses Google Civic API to determine if they fall in this area.
It also uses Google Civic API as the source of the data for any matching legislative or executive targets that are displayed to the front-end visitor on the full Action form.
Google Civic API is free service offered by Google On occasion, some of the data may be outdated or incorrect. To submit an error report regarding incorrect data, you can use this Google Form:
