Customizing the empty option for a picklist

When adding a picklist field as a Salesforce Element to a Form, you can customize the empty option that is presented to the end user. This option will be shown by default on the front end, if no Default Value is specfied and the Form isn't in edit mode. What's more, if the field is set as required, selecting this empty option will not allow the field to pass validation.

To customize the empty option for a picklist field:

1. Open the Forms page containing the picklist Salesforce Element
2. Click the Form tab
3. Click the edit icon for the Salesforce Element you wish to customize
4. For Empty Option Text, enter the text you wish to display to the end user
5. Click Save in the modal popup
6. Click Save
