The Shop tab turns a staff device into a merchandise table till. Your team browses the same collections and products as your online store, builds a cart, and takes payment.
To sell products:
- Tap Shop in the app, or tap Sell products on the Home screen.
- Tap the collection you are selling from.
- Tap a product to open it.
- Choose the quantity and any options.
- Tap the add-to-cart button.
- Repeat for anything else the buyer is taking.
- Tap Cart.
- Review the items, then tap Checkout.
- Enter the buyer's details.
- Tap Collect Payment.
- Choose how to collect the payment.
When payment completes, the app confirms Order Complete.
Note: Enter the buyer's email address at checkout if you want them to receive a receipt. Without it there is no address to send one to.
Finding a product quickly
Use the search box on the product list to filter by name — quicker than scrolling a long collection with someone waiting.
Adding a donation to the sale
If your store offers it, the cart includes an option to add a donation to the order. Ask at the point the buyer is already reaching for their card.
Totals
Sales tax is applied from your store's published tax regions. Shipping is never charged on an in-person order — the buyer is taking the goods with them, so no shipping is added whatever your online store's shipping rules say. A donation added to the order is not taxed; only the products are. See Preparing your Shop for in-person selling.
Where the order lands
The order appears in your Shop orders in the administrator alongside online orders, and records which staff member collected it.
If a sale is cancelled
Cancelling at the payment stage returns your team to the cart with the items still in it, so nothing has to be rebuilt.
