Why am I receiving an error "No such column 'CountryCode' on entity 'Lead' after submitting an Actions app action?


After a visitor submits an Actions app action, they may see the following error on the success page.

Salesforce Error: INVALID_FIELD: No such column 'CountryCode' on entity 'Lead'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.

This error typically means that the Actions app has Salesforce State & Country Picklists enabled, but the Salesforce org connected to Soapbox Engage does not have Salesforce State & Country Picklists enabled.

To fix this issue, do the following steps.

  1. Login to the Soapbox Engage administrator
  2. Go to the Actions app
  3. Go to the Actions app's Configuration tab
  4. Set the option Salesforce State and Country Picklist Enablement to "No"
  5. Click the Save button
