With last night's Soapbox release, new tools were dropped into your toolbox for raising money with Soapbox Donations. You can now populate fields on a donation form, including the one-time custom amount field, by passing one or multiple values to the form through a URL. What's more, you can make it so this custom amount field you define can't be edited by the user from within the form.
This new functionality is perfect those wishing to send personalized mass emails with a tool like Soapbox Mailer that include recipient-specific links to your donation page that prepopulate it with the email recipient's information. What's more, you may use this feature in conjunction with the Forms app to easily create multi-step workflows for things such as membership applications requiring payment.
For details on using this new functionality, check out the Knowledge Base article for Soapbox Engage and Soapbox CMS users.
You can also join next week's free training webinar Successful online fundraising with Soapbox Donations for further details.
