Defining field label placement for Search Form


To define where the labels of a Directories page are displayed in relation to the field:

  • Go to Components > Salesforce Dashboard > Directories
  • Click Form Manager
  • Open the form whose field label placement you wish to define
  • Click the Options tab
  • In the Search View Custom Content section at the top of the tab, select one of the following options:
    • Default (Above): places the label above the field;
    • Left: places the label to the left of the field and justifies it to the left along the edge of the content area; or
    • Right: places the label to the left of the field but justifies it to the right.
