Does Soapbox Engage's Events app store the Campaign Record Type Id?

When Soapbox Engage's Events app creates a new Campaign Member for the orderer of an event registration, the Campaign Member is inserted using the Campaign Member Type assigned by the Salesforce administrator for the Campaign.  Soapbox Engage's Events app does not manually insert the Campaign Member Type as part of the record insert process.
