Showing or hiding a comment field for donors to share why they support the cause

If your site has the peer-to-peer fundraising add on, you can display a comment field on the peer-to-peer Fundraising Pages for a given campaign that allows donors to state why they are supporting the cause. This field will appear at the bottom of the Contact Information section like this:

Any comment provided will be displayed along with details of the donation in the Supporters section, if the Supporters section is displayed on the Fundraising Pages or the parent campaign page.

To enable or disable this feature:

• Open the Soapbox Donation form for which you wish to customize the email
  
• Click the Fundraiser tab
• For Ask for Supporter Message, choose Yes or No
