Defining the Salutation to be used in the opening of letters to Targets for an Action

When creating an Action, you can customize the Salutation to be used in the opening of the letter to targets of that action.

In this example of an email sent to the Custom Target Mickey Mouse, the Salutation has been customized to read "Dear."

To customize the Salutation:

1. Open the Actions Manager in the Soapbox administrator
2. Click the title of the Action for which you wish to customize the Salutation
3. In the edit view of the Action, click the Action tab
4. Scroll down to the Target Email section
5. For Salutation, enter the text you wish to appear before the prefix and last name of the target in the opening of the letter
6. Click Save
