Lead Matching with Alternative First Name for Events app

Summary

This release allows an administrator to select a field on the Salesforce Contact object in the Configuration for the Events app to represent an alternative first name, or nickname, for the purpose of matching on Lead conversion. The release lays the groundwork to allow for First Name from the Lead record to be matched not just on the First Name on the Contact but on another Contact field of the admin’s choosing. This means, folks can account for situations where they might have Timothy Forbes as a Contact and a Nickname field with “Tim.”

As the final step in the addition of this functionality, we will release an update to our Soapbox Events for Salesforce package in the near future that will support this new Lead matching option in Salesforce itself.
