Configure alternative first name field for Salesforce with the Events app

If you want to expand your contact matching to include a nickname / alternative first name field in Salesforce, you can do so as follows.

1. Go to Administrator > Events > Configuration > Integration tab > Alternative First Name Field

2. Enter the Contact object's field name (not the field label) that should be used for the matching, ensuring that the field name ends in "__c" for a custom field.

3. Click the Save button
