Summary
This release allows Soapbox Engage integrations with Salesforce to connect to GovCloud by updating the WSDL (Web Services Description Language) used for these connections.
What does this mean?
For any integration action between Soapbox Engage and Salesforce— such as processing a donation— if a separate WSDL file has been uploaded to override the core file in Soapbox Engage, the system will now use this updated WSDL file to support GovCloud access. GovCloud access requires certain modifications to the WSDL code to ensure all actions are compliant with the necessary security and regulatory standards.
Why does this matter?
GovCloud is designed to meet the security and compliance needs of US government agencies and customers. By supporting Salesforce GovCloud, Soapbox Engage allows users in the public sector to confidently leverage our platform while ensuring compliance with the highest standards of data security.
Happy Soapboxing!
