In a January update to Soapbox, we added support for annual recurring donations in the Donations app. At that time, the annual frequency of that recurring donation was visible in Soapbox and with the payment processor but not in Salesforce.
With a recent release of Soapbox, the frequency of the recurring donation can be saved to Salesforce. To do so, you need to add the following field to both the Lead and Opportunity object, and update your Lead mapping to map the fields from Lead to Opportunity:
- Field Label: Transaction Frequency
- Field Name: sbx_DonationTransactionFrequency
- Field Type: picklist
- Picklist Values:
- Once
- Monthly
- Annual
- Quarterly
- Weekly
As of 3/1/2018, support has not yet been added for adjusting the Recurring Donation record in the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack to account for annual recurring transactions. This will be added in a future release of the Soapbox Donations for Salesforce package. In the meantime, you may wish to create automations in Salesforce to adjust the Recurring Donations record as needed for annual recurring donations.
Support for annual frequency on the Recurring Donation object in the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack was added in December 2018 as part of Soapbox Donations for Salesforce v1.17.
