Updates across the Soapbox platform to empower your organization

Over the last several weeks, we've released a wide variety of updates to Soapbox. These updates included a number of enhancements and bug fixes across the platform, the full release of the new Classes app, and significant work on a radically more powerful Template Designer for sites using the Soapbox Engage standard template that will be made generally available in the coming weeks.

Actions app

• Added support for Salesforce State and Country Picklists in the Actions app
• Resolved issues with Actions when the Street, City, or State fields are hidden on the full action submission form for an Action targeting an elected official

Classes app

• Created volume discount options that allow an administrator to define a subset of classes that are eligible for a reduced price if an order contains a minimum number of enrollments for that subset of classes
• Enhanced import and export features for classes, courses, and instructors
• Refined the results shown for the search view
• Updates to the mobile user experience for the search classes view

Directories app

• Resolved issue that was preventing effective use of _ga URL parameters on Directories views

Donations app

• Resolved issue related to the updating of a monthly donation by a logged in user when the site uses Braintree for payment processing

Events app

• Added support for the saving of details for a promo code used when purchasing a ticket to Soapbox and Salesforce
• Added the ability to display the Start Sales date for tickets on the event detail and registration views
• Updated the location map displayed on the event detail page to work with latest version of Google Maps API service
• Resolved an issue with data properly saving for checkbox field types included on the Attendee Information form when displayed as radio options
• Resolved issue with the display of some event edit views in the Soapbox administrator when the administrator was accessed over HTTPS

Forms app

• Add a reference field to a Form that allows an end user to select from a filtered set of records you define as an administrator. Learn more >>

Soapbox Administrator

• Added descriptive text to icons in the upper right of the administrator for Clear Cache, Global Check-In, and View Diagnostics

Template Designer

The following updates to the Soapbox Engage standard Template Designer will be made generally available over the next few weeks:

• Radically expanded the controls available to administrators for selecting colors, fonts, backgrounds and more with the Soapbox Engage standard template
• Added the option to include a customizable portal menu for sites with user integration that use the Soapbox Engage standard template for easy navigation by logged in front users
• Created the ability to preview design changes within the administrator
• Added support for Google Fonts in the Template Designer
