Saving data to Salesforce for promo codes used for tickets purchased

With Soapbox Events, you have the ability to offer promotional codes that provide discounts on paid tickets to visitors. When a promo code is used, you can also details saved to Salesforce.

To have details of the promo codes saved to Salesforce, you must manually create the following fields on both the Ticket Temp and Ticket objects. Follow these steps to add these fields.

  1. Add the Ticket Discount Code field on the Ticket Temp object
    1. Field Type:  Text (255 characters in length)
    2. Field Label:
      Ticket Discount Code
    3. Field Name:
      sbx_TicketDiscountCode
  2. Add the Ticket List Price field on the Ticket Temp object
    1. Field Type:  Currency (16 characters, 2 decimals)
    2. Field Label:
      Ticket List Price
    3. Field Name:
      sbx_TicketListPrice
  3. Add the Ticket Discount Code field on the Ticket object
    1. Field Type:  Text (255 characters in length)
    2. Field Label:
      Ticket Discount Code
    3. Field Name:
      sbx_TicketDiscountCode
  4. Add the Ticket List Price field on the Ticket object
    1. Field Type:  Currency (16 characters, 2 decimals)
    2. Field Label:
      Ticket List Price
    3. Field Name:
      sbx_TicketListPrice
