Managing duplicates for donors in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud

If you have a Donation app page that integrates with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Soapbox sends data to Salesforce for donations that it processes through the Fundraising Business Process API.

If you wish to manage duplicates in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud for donors that come from Soapbox, you can do so in Salesforce through Duplicate Rules and Matching Rules. To do so:

  1. Ensure that you have selected Duplicate Management Rules as the Donor Matching Method under Fundraising Settings in Salesforce. For more information, see Configure Fundraising Settings in Salesforce's documentation.
  2. Customize Duplicate Rules and Matching Rules as desired. For more information, see Customize Duplicate Management in Salesforce's documentation.
