Creating a Designation Group on a Donations app page

Designations on a given Donations app page can be displayed as individual items or grouped. Designation Groups on a Donations app page appear as pills above the Designation select box to allow for filtering by group.

You may created Designation Groups that match the Designation Categories in your administrator or create entirely different groupings for a Donations app page.

To create a Designation Group within the Donations app:

  1. Navigate to the Donations Manager.
    Go to Donations > Pages, then select the desired Donation Page from the list.
     
  2. Click Payment tab.
     
  3. Scroll down to the Designation section.
     
  4. Click the “Add Designation Group” button.
    This action opens a modal window to create a new group.
    • Enter the Name. (required)
      In the modal, enter a Name for the new Designation Group.
    • Click Save.
      After entering the name, click Save to create the group.
       
  5. The new group will appear under the Designation section in a table, ordered by creation. You can later rearrange the groups as needed.
     
  6. Click Apply/Save on the Donation page.
    Be sure to save the Donation page itself to apply and persist the changes.
