The Soapbox Engage Shop app is a robust e-commerce platform that provides organizations with seamless CRM and payment processor integrations. Thanks to this update, administrators can set default values for the contact, shipping, and billing information fields on their Shop app checkout page. This includes name, email, phone, organization, state, zip code, country, and more. This can save customers time and make their experience quick and efficient!
Additionally, administrators can now prepopulate fields using user-defined session variables. For example, if an organization sends out a marketing email, they can include a personalized link for each customer that includes their postal code, in a format like https://www.example.org/?postalcode=22201. The postal code can then automatically populate the postal code field on the Shop app when the person reaches the checkout page. This field can also be visible and editable to the visitor, or even hidden for tracking behind-the-scenes data like tracking codes.
