Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement Integration Improvements

updated

The Soapbox Engage Donations app is the first solution of its kind to integrate with Microsoft Fundraising & Engagement (F&E). The Donations app sends data to F&E in real-time so donor and transaction information is instantly available in F&E with no manual entry, duct-taped integrations, or laborious imports.

This Donations app update is jam packed with improvements to the F&E integration. On the front-end, we increased the speed at which donation forms are loaded and submitted, thus pushing data to F&E quicker for a lightning fast experience.

Administrators can now see the F&E Donation Import Record ID under the Transactions view in the Donations app. Additionally, an admin can search for a transaction by the F&E Donation Import Record ID. Aside from it’s day-to-day administrative applications, this is immensely helpful when troubleshooting. Under the Transaction Detail View, there is also a section that displays any Microsoft errors generated when trying to create a Donation Import Record. Another great resource for troubleshooting.

Lastly, this update organizes the Soapbox Engage Diagnostics view. This tab now displays whether the Microsoft Authentication Plugin, Graph Plugin, Web API Plugin, Webhook Plugin, and Microsoft Credentials are enabled or disabled.
