Customizing From Email Name, From Email Address, Reply-To Name and Rely-To Email for Shop app shopping cart confirmation emails

By default, the Shop app shopping cart sends reservation confirmation emails using the global email settings in the Account Settings view in the administrator. Details on managing these settings and best practices for the email address you use as the From Email Address can be found in Outbound Email Settings in Soapbox and Best Practices to Ensure Deliverability.

If you wish, you can also customize the From Email Name, From Email Address, Reply-To Name and Rely-To Email for the Shp app shopping cart. To do so:

  • Open the Configuration for the Shop app
  • Click the Shopping Cart tab
  • Scroll down to the Confirmation Email section
  • For From Email Name, enter the name you wish to appear to the orderer as the sender of the confirmation email. Reviewing Outbound Email Settings in Soapbox and Best Practices to Ensure Deliverability will provide guidance on this setting to ensure maximum email deliverability.
  • For From Email Address, enter the email from which you wish to appear to the orderer as the sender of the confirmation email
  • For Reply-To Name, enter the name you wish to appear to the orderer if they reply to the email. If nothing is entered and no global default has been defined, the From Email Name will be used.
  • For Reply-To Email, enter the email you wish their reply to go to if they reply to the email. If nothing is entered and no global default has been defined, the From Email Address will be used.
  • Click Save
