Processing Donation Import records to convert them to Transactions in Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement

When Soapbox posts transactions to Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement, it creates a record in the Donation Import table of the solution. This is a table used to onboard data before sending it to the Transaction table.

To trigger the process of creating a Transactions record from a single Donation Import record:

1. In the lower left corner of Fundraising and Engagement at the bottom of the navigation panel, click the drop down that shows the various areas of the solution
2. Click Gifts
3. In the left panel, scroll down to the External Data section
4. Click Donation Imports
5. In the Donation Imports view, locate the record you wish to process
6. Click the Donation Import record you wish to process to open it
7. For Status Updated, select "Ready"
8. Click Save

To trigger the process for multiple Donation Import records at once:

1. In the lower left corner of Fundraising and Engagement at the bottom of the navigation panel, click the drop down that shows the various areas of the solution
2. Click Gifts
3. In the left panel, scroll down to the External Data section
4. Click Donation Imports
5. In the Donation Imports view, locate the records you wish to process
6. Tick the checkbox to the left of each record you wish to process
7. Click Edit
8. In the panel that opens on the right, for Status Updated, select "Ready"
9. Click Save
