Forcing secure SSL access to administrators using a prefixed Soapbox domain

updated

At Soapbox, security of your Engage site is a primary concern. To that end, we released an update to the platform that now forces all traffic to the administrator for sites using a prefixed Soapbox domain to use the secure SSL version of the URL

As an example, this prefixed Soapbox URL:

http://example.nonprofitsoapbox.com/administrator

Would now forward to the secure version:

https://example.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/administrator

This update does not apply to front-end visitors nor does it apply to Soapbox sites that use custom domains (e.g., http://engage.example.org/administrator or http://www.example.org/administrator).

Happy secure Soapboxing!
