Managing Paddle Raise

With the Auctions app, you can configure and run a Paddle Raise campaign within an auction. Paddle Raise allows you to define giving levels and activate them during a live event to solicit bidder contributions.

To manage Paddle Raise for an auction:

  1. Open the Auctions Manager.
  2. Click the title of the auction you want to manage.
  3. Click the Paddle Raise tab.

The Paddle Raise tab displays a table of giving levels with the following columns:

  • ID — The system-assigned identifier for the level.
  • Order — A drag handle to reorder giving levels.
  • Amount — The currency amount for the giving level.
  • Status — The current state of the level: Ready, Active (live), or Completed.
  • Actions — Buttons to Activate, Deactivate, or Delete a level.

To add a new giving level:

  1. Click New Level.
  2. For Amount, enter the currency amount for the giving level.
  3. Click Save.

To activate a giving level during a live event:

  1. In the Paddle Raise levels table, click Activate next to the level you want to make live.
  2. The level status changes to Active (live). Bidders viewing the front end will see the Paddle Raise level and can contribute at that amount.

To deactivate a giving level:

  1. Click Deactivate next to the active level.
  2. The level status changes to Completed.

To reorder giving levels:

  1. Drag a level row to the desired position using the drag handle in the Order column.
  2. Click Save.

Note: Only one Paddle Raise level should be active at a time during a live event. Activating a new level while another is active is not recommended.
