Boost recurring donations this giving season with the upsell prompt!With the Auctions app, you can intervene on a single item while an auction is running — hold bidding on one lot without stopping the rest, close a lot early, or void what has been bid on it. Each action is available from the item's row on the auction's Items tab.
These act on one item. To halt an entire auction, use the auction's Paused setting on its Details tab instead.
Pausing an item
Click Pause on the item's row.
The item's status becomes Paused, and bidders can no longer bid on or buy it. Everything already bid is kept — pausing does not undo anything — and the rest of the auction carries on as normal.
Use it when something needs checking mid-auction: a donor query, a description that turns out to be wrong, a photo of the wrong item. Resume when it is settled.
Ending an item
Click End on the item's row.
The item closes immediately rather than at its scheduled time. If it has bids, the highest bidder wins and the item becomes Sold, with a fulfillment created for it exactly as if it had run its course. With no bids, it ends Unsold.
Use it when a lot has clearly finished — a Buy Now equivalent agreed in the room, or an item you need to hand over before the auction closes.
Canceling an item
Click Cancel on the item's row.
Important: Canceling voids every bid placed on the item and then cancels the item itself. Bidders who bid on it no longer have those bids. This cannot be undone.
You are not asked to confirm. The action takes effect the moment you click, and the message you see afterwards — referring to bids being canceled — is confirmation that it has already happened, not a prompt. Be certain before you click.
Reserve this for a lot that should never have been in the auction: an item withdrawn by the donor, a duplicate listing, or one created in error. If you simply want bidding to stop, Pause it. If you want the current high bidder to win, End it.

Printing and QR codes
Each item row offers a QR code, which links to that item's page on the front end. Print them for table cards or lot signage so guests can scan straight to the item and bid from their phone.
The Items tab also offers a print view of the item list, useful for a paper catalog or a run sheet for the night.
