The door is where bad data gets caught. A guest mentions their email address is wrong, or their company name has changed, or they have moved. Soapbox Engage Onsite lets your team fix it there and then, without a note on a clipboard that never gets typed up.
To view a guest's details:
- Tap Events in the app, or tap Check in guests on the Home screen.
- Tap the event you are working.
- Tap the Attendee list button at the top of the screen.
- Tap the guest's name — tap the row itself, not the Check In button.
Their record opens, showing their name and email, contact details, address, organization, any additional questions your registration form asked, and any cards saved to their record.
To update their details:
- Open the guest's record.
- Tap Edit.
- Change what needs changing.
- Tap Save.
Tap Cancel to leave without saving.
What can be changed
| Group | Fields |
|---|---|
| Name & Email | First name, last name, email address |
| Contact | Organization, home, work, and mobile phone |
| Address | Street, city, state or province, postal code, country |
| Additional fields | Any extra questions your registration form asked |
Note: Changes are saved to the guest's registration for this event. They are the same records your administrators see, so a correction made at the door is a correction everywhere that reservation is used.
Checking in from the record
A guest whose details you have just corrected can be checked in from their record without going back to the list.
