Finding a product quickly during a sale

Scrolling a long collection with a queue at the table is the slowest part of selling anything. The product list has a search box for exactly this.

To find a product:

1. Tap Shop in the app, or tap Sell products on the Home screen.
2. Tap the collection you are selling from.
3. Enter part of the product's name in the search box.
4. Tap the product in the results.

Clearing the search

Tap the clear button at the right of the search box to return to the full collection. Do this between buyers — a search left in place from the last sale makes the next one look like an almost-empty collection.

Note: Search filters within the collection you are in, not across your whole store. If a product is not appearing, check you are in the right collection.

If a product is not there at all

A product only appears in the app when it is published and, where you track inventory, still in stock. A product missing from search as well as the full list is almost always one of those two. See Preparing your Shop for in-person selling.

Speeding up a busy table

• Keep your event's collection small and specific rather than selling from a catalog-wide collection.
• Agree short names with your table staff for the things people ask for most.
