Disabling contact field editing for logged in users when registering

updated

If your site has a password-protected area and its users are connected to Salesforce Contact records in your Salesforce instance, you can ensure data integrity for the Leads created and converted for Soapbox Events by choosing to disable a logged in user's ability to edit their Contact Fields. This will mean the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields which will be autofilled with the logged in user's information stored in Salesforce will not be editable by that user. The appearance of these fields will also be altered slightly to denote that this is intentional.

Disabling the editing of these contact fields for logged in users will not affect anonymous users. Anonymous users will still be able to enter their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.

To disable edit ability for logged in users:

NOTE: This option is only applicable to Soapbox Events with Allow Reservations set to Yes.
