Note that any merge fields will not work as values will not have been provided from the previous step, but you can go to any event link, which is usually in the format http://path-to-your-event/event/ID, and just add /confirm in between the /event and /ID such as http://path-to-your-event/event/confirm/ID, and you will be able to preview the page and language for your confirmation email as setup in the event's messages tab.
