Boost recurring donations this giving season with the new upsell prompt!You can choose to allow visitors to designate a payment as anonymous. If this is enabled on peer-to-peer Fundraising Pages, the name of the donor will be replaced in the Supporters list with the word "Anonymous." For standard Donation pages, this request will be recorded in Soapbox and Salesforce, if Salesforce integration is enabled, and be available to you to honor if you publish a public list of supporters separate from Soapbox.
To enable this option:
- Open the Soapbox Donation form for which you wish to enable anonymous donations
- Click the Contact Info tab
- For Anonymous in the left column, choose Show. This will cause a checkbox to appear on the form below the Contact Information section which includes any Custom Fields you have enabled. If you wish this checkbox to be checked by default, check Checked by Default.
- If you wish to customize the default description of "Remain Anonymous" which appears next to the checkbox, click the Customize Headings and Labels button to open the slider and edit the Anonymous Label field at the bottom of the form
- Click Save
