Customizing labels, descriptions, tooltips and display of attendee standard fields

updated

You may customize the labels, tooltips, and display of standard fields included on the attendee form by doing the following:

  1. Open the Soapbox Event whose attendee standard fields you wish to customize
  2. On the Attendee Info tab, click Customize Headings and Labels. This will expand to reveal available options.
  3. For each of the following field groups, you may customize the text of the Label to appear on the form: Name Label, Email Address Label, Organization Label, Title Label, Home Phone Label, Work Phone Label, Mobile Phone Label, and Address Label. NOTE: Both the Name Label and Address Label have a single label associated with multiple fields appearing below them (see Name Label example in front screenshot below)

  4. For each of the standard fields, you may customize the text of Description which appears under the individual field (see above)
  5. For each of the standard fields, you may choose to show or hide the Description which appears under the individual field
  6. For each field group noted in #3, you may enter CSS Keywords to influence the formatting of that field group. This is best used for individual fields rather than the Name and Address groups. The following groups of CSS Keywords are available as options, each one of the group applied to a single field. They divide the horizontal space available to the form into fractions noted in their names:
    1. leftHalf rightHalf
    2. leftThird middleThird rightThird
    3. leftFourth middleFourth rightFourth
    4. leftFifth middleFifth rightFifth
  7. For each field group noted in #3, you may customize a tooltip which will appear when a visitor mouses over the field Label
