Customizing headings, labels, descriptions, tooltips and display of reservation fields

You may customize the headings, labels, tooltips, and display of standard fields included on the reservation form by doing the following:

  1. Open the Soapbox Event whose reservation fields you wish to customize
  2. On the Edit tab at the bottom of the Details section, click Customize Headings and Labels to expand the following options:
    1. Show or hide the date/time subheading
    2. Show or hide the host/venue subheading
    3. Show or hide the When section heading
    4. Show or hide the Add to Calendar link
    5. Show or hide the Where section heading
    6. Show or hide the Host section heading
  3. On the Edit tab at the bottom of the Ticket Information section, click Customize Headings and Labels to expand the following options:
    1. Show or hide the Event Registration section heading above the ticket table
    2. Customize the text of the Event Registration section heading
    3. Customize the text of the Ticket Type Column Heading
    4. Customize the text of the Ends Column Heading
    5. Customize the text of the Capacity Column Heading
    6. Customize the text of the Price Column Heading
    7. Customize the text of the Attend Button Text
  4. On the Edit tab at the bottom of the Description section, click Customize Headings and Labels to expand the following options:
    1. Show or hide the Event Details section heading
    2. Customize the text of the Event Details section heading
  5. On the Reservation Info tab, click Customize Headings and Labels to expand the following options:
    1. For Section Title, customize the text to appear at the top of the reservation form and choose whether you wish to Show or Hide the title
    2. For Section Description, customize the text to appear under the Section Title at the top of the reservation form and choose whether you wish to Show or Hide the description
    3. For Registering, customize the text to appear as the event status when at least one Ticket Type is available
      NOTE: Event status is currently not displayed on the front end. This has been added in support of future releases adding course and class functionality to Events.
    4. For Registration Closed, customize the text to appear as the event status when the End Sales Date has passed for all Ticket Types have passed or there are no currently published Ticket Types

    5. For Registration Full, customize the text to appear as the event status when the Event Capacity or the individual capacity for each Ticket Type has been reached

    6. For Reservation Button Text, customize the text you wish to appear in the button on the event detail page
    7. For each of the following field groups, you may customize the text of the Label to appear on the form: Name Label, Email Address Label, Organization Label, Phone Label, and Address Label. NOTE: Both the Name Label and Address Label have a single label associated with multiple fields appearing below them (see Name Label example in front screenshot below)

    8. For each of the fields, you may customize the text of Description which appears under the individual field (see above)
    9. For each of the fields, you may choose to show or hide the Description which appears under the individual field
    10. For each field group, you may enter CSS Keywords to influence the formatting of that field group. This is best used for individual fields rather than the Name and Address groups. The following groups of CSS Keywords are available as options, each one of the group applied to a single field. They divide the horizontal space available to the form into fractions noted in their names: 
      1. leftHalf rightHalf 
      2. leftThird middleThird rightThird 
      3. leftFourth middleFourth rightFourth 
      4. leftFifth middleFifth rightFifth
    11. For each field group, you may customize a tooltip which will appear when a visitor mouses over the field Label
