Status for Cash or Check payment options for reservations

If you accept reservations for paid tickets, you can enable Cash or Check in the Payment Options of the event. If you do so, reservations made with this option will require that you accept payment from attendees offline either at the event or by some other means.

Reservations made with the Cash or Check option will be noted as follows.

Status in Soapbox Events Reservations

Reservations made with the Cash or Check option will have a red X in the Paid column for Reservations listings in Soapbox Events.

Status in Export of Reservations from Soapbox Events

Reservations made with the Cash or Check option will have "Incomplete" in the Payment Status column of the downloaded CSV file.

Status in Salesforce

For those using Salesforce and have enabled Salesforce integration for the event in question, reservations made with the Cash or Check option will have the following field values on the Opportunity record created for the reservation:

  • Form of Payment: Offline
  • Transaction ID: NULL
  • Transaction Status: Incomplete

Note that updating the payed status in Soapbox under the "Reservations" tab will not update Salesforce.  You would need to manually update the Salesforce record.
