Soapbox Mailer gives you the ability to create multiple Email Senders which you can choose to use one for each of your email campaigns. When doing so, bounces can still be tracked on these campaigns; however, if the Amazon settings aren't configured properly, bounces will not be properly recorded in Soapbox Mailer.
If you find that one of your Email Senders is not properly recording bounces, here's how you can investigate a fix for this situation, based on your verification by email address or domain.
If you've verified your senders one address at a time
1) Login to the Amazon Web Services Console for SES.
2) On the left side of the SES Management Console screen, click the link called "Email Addresses" under Verified Senders.
3) On the Email Addresses screen, click paper/magnifying glass icon next to the email address that isn't tracking bounces.
4) Under that email address's screen, click the heading called Feedback, and then click the Edit Configuration button.
5) On the Edit Notification Configuration pop-up window, in the SNS Configuration section, for Bounces, choose "ses-bounces-topic", and for Complaints, choose "ses-complaints-topic".
6) Click the Save Config button.
If you've verified your senders across a domain
1) Login to the Amazon Web Services Console for SES.
2) On the left side of the SES Management Console screen, click the link called "Domains" under Verified Senders.
3) On the Domains screen, click paper/magnifying glass icon next to the email address that isn't tracking bounces.
4) Under that domain's screen, click the heading called Feedback, and then click the Edit Configuration button.
5) On the Edit Notification Configuration pop-up window, in the SNS Configuration section, for Bounces, choose "ses-bounces-topic", and for Complaints, choose "ses-complaints-topic".
6) Click the Save Config button.
Happy emailing!
