Enabling Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement Integration and selecting a Campaign, Appeal, Package and Designation

You can enable Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement integration for specific Soapbox Engage Donation pages and define what Campaign, Appeal, Package and Designation records in Microsoft the payments should be automatically associated with.

For each of these parameters, you can choose one record as the administrator so all payments processed by the form will be associated with that Campaign, Appeal, Package and Designation. For Designation, you can also choose to allow the payee to choose from a set of Designations you select in the administrator.

To enable and configure the Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement integration:

  • Open the Donation page you wish to customize
  • Click the Integrations tab
  • In the Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement section, for Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement Integration, choose Use Global Config, if you wish to use the default you have set in Donations > Configuration, Yes, or No
  • For Campaign, click Select. In the modal popup, select one Campaign from the list with which to associate this payment and click Save.
  • For Appeal, click Select. In the modal popup, select one Appeal from the list with which to associate this payment and click Save.
  • For Package, click Select. In the modal popup, select one Package from the list with which to associate this payment and click Save.
  • For Donor Chosen Designation, choose Yes, if you wish to display a drop down on the form from which the visitor can choose a Designation from a list you select, or No, if you wish the payments to be associated only with a Designation you choose as administrator
  • For Donor Chosen Designation Label, define the text to appear next to the Designation drop down to be displayed to the visitor, if you has selected Yes for Donor Chosen Designation
  • For Designation, click select. In the popup:
    • If you have chosen No for Donor Chosen Designation, select one Designation from the list with which to associate this payment and click Save
    • If you have chosen Yes for Donor Chosen Designation, select multiple Designations from the list which you wish to allow the visitor to choose from and click Save. These Designations will show up in a drop down list on the form in alphabetical order with the first one appearing as the default. When you are done, click Save.
  • If you have chosen Yes for Donor Chosen Designation, you can customize the text that will appear to the front-end visitor for each option.
  • Click Save
