Can a different Salesforce Campaign record type be used than those provided by Soapbox Engage's Events app?

While it is strongly recommended that any Salesforce Campaign record to be associated with a Soapbox Engage Events app event use the Soapbox Engage supplied "Soapbox Registration" record type, the Events app should still successfully associate data with the Salesforce Campaign configured by the administrator to be associated with registrations.
