Does an event with only free ticketing need to be connected to Salesforce Campaign to track registrations in Salesforce?

Soapbox Engage's Events app allows administrators to connect an event to a Salesforce Campaign.  Doing so will allow the Events app to create Ticket records in Salesforce to represent each of the tickets ordered by users.

Even if an event has only free tickets, in order for Ticket records to be created in Salesforce, the event must be connected to a Salesforce Campaign.
