Problem
In certain circumstances, an administrator user may find that when attempting to add a product to a Soapbox Engage Shop app store they're unable to view a product in the list of products to be selected.
Here’s some potential causes and solutions for solving this problem.
Possible causes and solutions
1. Product is unpublished
It is possible that the product is in an unpublished state, and therefore cannot be added to a store.
Confirmation
- Go to App Launcher > Shop > Products, and click the name of the product.
- On the product's page, ensure that the Published option is set to "Yes".
Fix

If the product's Published option is set to "No", change it to "Yes".
- Click the Save button.
- Attempt to add the product to the store again.
2. Product has a Finish Publishing date in the past
It is possible that the product is in an unpublished state due to the Finish Publishing date being in the past, and therefore cannot be added to a store.
Confirmation
- Go to App Launcher > Shop > Products, and click the name of the product.
- On the product's page, in the Details section, ensure that the Finish Publishing date is a date in the future..
Fix
- On the product's page, in the Details section, set the Finish Publishing date to a date in the future.
- Click the Save button.
- Attempt to add the product to the store again.
