Hide Salesforce errors on thank you pages for all Donation forms by default

updated

When a Donation form is successfully submitted by a donor, Soapbox creates a Lead record in Salesforce and attempts to auto-convert it. If an error is caused in Salesforce by the attempted Lead creation or conversion - usually due to a custom workflow or validation rule - that error will be displayed to the end user on the thank you page unless you choose to hide it.

To control the default behavior for Salesforce errors on the thank you pages for all Donations forms:

  • Open the Configuration for the Donations app
  • Click the Integrations tab
  • For Display Salesforce Error, select No to hide any Salesforce errors or Yes to allow them to be displayed to the end user
  • Click Save
